Here is a profound thought for you to ponder…
Jesus Christ is the only person who ever chose to die.
You may argue and say, “But what about all the suicide bombers and terrorists who blow themselves up to kill other people”? None of those people chose to die in the final sense of the word. They only chose when they would die.
Only one person died, that did not have to die. John 10:18 “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again…”
He did it all for you and me. He conquered death for us!
When the problems of your life are over your head, remember that they are actually under His feet! He conquered death for you.
