Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
It is a wonderful thing to give our soul over to the Lord in salvation, but don't forget that He also wants our body. As we enjoy the abundant blessings of knowing our sins are forgiven, we must not fail to remember that we have been bought with a price…the precious blood of Jesus Christ and it is only right that we present our body a living sacrifice as well.
When we complain and gripe through the days of our Christian life, we are just revealing that we have not presented our bodies as well as our souls to the Lord.
Have you really placed your all on the altar of sacrifice…for Jesus' sake?
