Ever felt like quitting? The Christian life is not a sprint...it’s a marathon. Strengthen yourself for the race ahead. You have the ability to do that, if the Holy Spirit of God truly lives in you, because “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world”. Run this race with patience for our expectation is in Christ and not in our own selves.
Psalm 62:5 “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”
Quitting may ease the pain we feel for a little time, but in the end will burden us with regret for the rest of our life.
I Corinthians 15:57-58 “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
The darker the night of your trial...be excited! Our God does His best work in the dark! He is at work whether we can see it or not!
