From our human perspective, things sometimes seem so bleak. The trial we are facing seems destined to ruin us and we cannot even begin to think that it will turn out in a positive manner. The longer we meditate on our difficulties, the bleaker they become….IF….., we fail to think on them from God’s perspective.
When trouble looms large before our eyes, don’t forget that God is bigger than our trouble.
Psalm 25:17 “The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.”
Psalm 27:13-14 “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”
