Have you ever considered the value of “little things”? So often, the little things can seem insignificant…almost unneeded. For instance… one penny or one pencil. But when that item is needed to accomplish some task, how valuable it instantly becomes, especially if neither is available! So it is with many “little things”.
How often a simple kind word spoken from a caring heart or a helpful deed expressed in love, can become a really BIG thing in the life of another person. Think about the value of a good testimony…an invitation to church or a pat on the back for a job well done. These are all seemingly “little things” but they can make big changes in someone else’s heart.
And so it is, in the negative little things we say and do.
James 3:5 “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!”
Be more conscious today…of the little things you say and do, for they can have a BIG effect in the life of another.
