Is your burden too heavy to bear today? Are you thinking of giving in or giving up?
When our focus is on the trial…we are unable to focus on the Deliverer and His already available deliverance---from our trial.
II Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory:”
(this was stated by the Apostle Paul, one who knew what suffering was!)
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Don’t concentrate on the temporal, earthly problem. Focus on the power of your Eternal God and Deliverer! You can do it if God’s Spirit abides in you. That is where the peace comes from!
II Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim….in the light of His glory and grace! Be patient while you wait for your Deliverer to come!
