Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
What a wonderful truth this is, but He seldom steps in to help us, until we first cry out to Him in humility, asking for His help.
II Chronicles 20:9 "If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine…..and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help."
Fall upon His mercy and ask for His strong arm of help.
