Consider the preciousness of Christian friendship…  I have a friend who is gravely ill.  Her life is fragile at best, yet this friend communes with the Lord everyday…many times per day and she is an encouragement to me.   The one who needs so much…shares so much with others.

What a friendship!  What love!

Too many Christians take for granted their Christian friendships.  Perhaps they were burned out on people somewhere along the line and now they live behind a wall of protection and refuse to get too close to other believers.

We need one another dear Christian.  How can an army work together if we don't support the other troops?  We spend too much time participating in friendly fire and we hurt the ones we are called to love.

Take another look at the people sitting around you in your church congregation.  There are many hurting hearts who just need a friend…someone who will pray with them….someone who will encourage them.

Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."

Proverbs 27:9 "Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel."

Make someone's heart rejoice today!
